Our services principally involve recruitment through search, selection and contingency or a blend of these as appropriate, but can also involve consultancy projects within our specialist areas.
We recognise the importance of identifying the most talented individuals and to this end pride ourselves on the level of personal attention we bring to every project.
It is our aim to establish long term relationships with our clients.
As practitioners we have acquired many years’ experience within the financial markets before moving into recruitment. We prefer to work as a team on each assignment with a true partnership approach. This enables us to retain a high level of control over the process, to undertake our own research and to extract the maximum effectiveness from the headhunting and interviewing process whilst providing continuity at all times from beginning to end of the assignment.
Our extensive experience gained in our specialist field gives us a unique insight into this constantly changing environment. This has enabled us to establish widespread personal networks in the area as well as unrivalled level of specialist sectoral knowledge.
We exercise the utmost discretion in our dealings with both clients and candidates, many of whom maintain on-going contact so they are kept aware of activity and current themes within the market.
The Partners

Andrew Thompson began his career in merchant banking with Morgan Grenfell. He moved into executive search in 1987 initially focusing on Asset Management but in recent years has covered both the sell and buy sides.

Bo Campbell began her career in investment banking. In 1992 she moved into broking where she spent 11 years managing and advising on UK equities. In 2004 she moved into executive search where she specialises on cash equities and investor relations.
Our services
Our principal services are set out below and may be used on their own or in combination to ensure that assignments are brought to a successful conclusion as effectively and efficiently as possible. Timescales for the relevant processes can be adapted as appropriate to meet our clients’ needs for each assignment.

Search
We identify suitable candidates through comprehensive market research utilising our database as well as speaking to industry practitioners to produce a longlist which we then discuss with the client. At this stage of the process the emphasis is on identifying individuals who not only meet both the required technical and experience specifications but are also a good cultural fit with the client. The targeted individuals are then approached and interviewed by us in order to produce a shortlist of suitable candidates.

Selection
We prepare the advertisement copy in consultation with the client and arrange for the copy to appear in the agreed media outlets. We then interview appropriate individuals and produce a shortlist of suitable candidates whilst dealing with the administration of the advertisement response. We assist in the subsequent meetings between the client and candidates putting particular emphasis on the offer negotiations and resignation.

Contingency
We are constantly in touch with potential candidates in the market. If any of these are interested in new opportunities we interview them and if they fit the current requirements of our clients, we will arrange for introductions as appropriate.
Whichever process or combination of processes is favoured by the client, we follow up after appointment to ensure a smooth settling in process.

Consulting
We provide consultancy services across a broad range of projects that include identification of target companies or teams that would complement our clients’ ambitions together with approaching and negotiating those targets as required. We also offer the researching and identifying of specific skills within the market for future recruitment needs as well as general sector research and salary surveys.
